Ive been trying to do more pieces that are inspired by fashion. So here is a picture I ripped out of Septembers Vogue catalog.I really love this red jacket and I have an undying love for grey hair, so I really loved this picture. If only I could afford the jacket!! hahahah The jacket is a Louis Vuitton wool coat for $2K. So I wanted to do a red hair piece. Lets get right to it! Here is what I came up with.
I was really excited to include the pair of vintage earrings. Also I was really excited to include vintage pearly stamen from Germany.

Our next Valentine product is an MP3 player sweater in vivid red hand knit by Kristin Crane of KristinCrane. Valentine's Day isn't just about hearts, it's also about staying warm! (At least here in Rhode Island.) Don't let your iPod get chilly while it's playing all those love songs on the 14th. Kristin said of her creation: "This little sweater was inspired by Irish Aran sweaters. It was hand knit with an interesting cable pattern, and is a washable bright red wool. It fits the classic iPod perfectly."

Have you ever fallen in love with something at first sight? That's how I felt when I saw this classy Valentine themed clutch made by Linda of Alamodestuff. The fabric is velvet flocked red taffeta. Linda said of the fabric: "When I saw it, I simply had to have it. I wasn't sure what I was going to make, but I bought it anyway. After staring at it for days, I decided that it would make the perfect clutch for a little black dress. The shape was inspired by the purses of the 1940s. It reminds me of a time when women wore evening gloves with their fancy little bags." Check out Linda's shop for this item as well as other wonderful items with urban appeal.
